  • The tapered shape of Air Impact self-inflating mats provides space at the upper body where it is needed but saves weight by reducing width at the legs where it’s less crucial. Weight and packed size are also saved by the lightweight ripstop nylon outer and diamond profile to the core running through the foam fill. This makes the range particularly appealing to self-propelled adventurers like trekkers, cycle tourers and kayakers. The Air Impact uses the Pump Sack compatible and flat, unobtrusive Peak Valve for ease of inflation and deflation.

      Sleeping in comfort

Contacted Hit the Trail to get the best advise for sleeping mats, the Air Impact 25 ticked all the boxes for us, our children use them when they go to camp and compared to the old style foam ones that I grew up with these are extremely comfortable. We also use them in our camper van, for those who are familar when sleeping in the lower area you feel the contour shape of the seats when lying down, we find that these add maximum comfort.
