The Kaduro Light GTX goes that extra mile, both in terms of time and distance. HANWAG developed this low cut to make a lightweight, well-cushioned and hard-wearing hiking boot with superior energy return – 100% made in Europe. Whatever the distance, it realistically meets hikers’ demands. Its innovative midsole technology – the HANWAG Bead technology - combines the best properties of PU - stability, cushioning and durability - with eTPU’s light weight, comfort and energy return capability. Together with BASF HANWAG developed an innovative midsole technology – underpinned by extensive material tests – which is unique in the outdoor footwear sector. The sole absorbs the energy when feet contact the ground and returns it afterwards. The softer midsole is also more comfortable while people are walking. Both characteristics keep hikers happy, particularly over long distances. The sole is complemented by a new, custom-developed outsole in a multifunctional design that provides excellent grip on the most diverse of terrain. This lightweight sole’s tread is designed to wear out less quickly in the usual areas, which helps the boot last longer. The model can be resoled if necessary. Please note: the new sole unit will always be black. Thanks to the lightweight GORE-TEX Invisible Fit membrane which is concealed in the boot and not felt because the laminate and upper are bonded, the boot is waterproof, windproof and breathable.
